Belarus: New crop veg increases in price

Consumer prices index for goods and services for the period from 17 to 24 July, 2012 according to National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Belarus, is equal to 100.2%, the price index from the beginning of the month compared to the average prices of June 2012 is equal to 101.3%.

When the new season crop entered the market, beetroot increased in price 1.6 times, potato rose by 36.4%, carrots by 36.2%, onion 33.3%, apples - 15.8%, according to Kazah-Zerno Information Agency, based on the data received from BelStat.
