AU: Food deflation looks set to reverse

There is good news for the big supermarket chains from this week's final quarter sales releases. it seems that the low prices of bananas is about to change direction, which should help the likes of Coles and Woolworths build both revenue and profit momentum.

Food price deflation, which has increased this year because of an explosion in the supply of fresh produce as the long drought finally broke, has bedevilled Coles for more than two years.
