Fatal accident during organic cherry harvest in Germany

Last Friday evening (6th of July 2012) a fatal accident took place at an organic company in the German district Schmalkalden-Meiningen (in the south of Thüringen). During the cherry harvest the man came into contact with a high voltage wire and was electrocuted. Help was too late, although, among others, a helicopter ambulance was flown to the scene of the accident. This was confirmed at the police station in Meiningen.
