Panama: Coosemupar surrender lands to former employees

After many years of conflict, the former employees of the Cooperative of Multiple Services of Puerto Armuelles (Coosemupar), dedicated to the production and export of bananas, cleared up the matter of the distribution of land in Baru.

After two days, the National Authority of Land Management (ANATI) completed the survey in which the former Coosemupar partners chose their plots of land individually and not collectively, to continue growing bananas for export.

The former workers will obtain their titles in early 2013.
