Mexico is the main mango exporter to the US at the moment

Last week, the United States imported about 3,751,278 boxes of mango, representing 29% more than the week before, according to the report by the National Mango Board.

From the total mango imports from the US, the majority came from Mexico, which sent about 3,670,187 boxes last week. The sent amount represented 30% more than in the previous week. Moreover, the National Mango Board (NMB) informed that in the ports in Arizona the prices for Ataulfo and Tommy Atkins dropped, while in the entrance port of Texas, the prices for Tommy Atkins were higher during last week.



Haiti also exported mango to the United States. Its export is slightly smaller regarding the amounts sent by Mexico and last week 9% less was sent than in the week before. About 81,091 boxes of mango were sent from Haiti to the US last week The most exported variety of mango exported to the US from Haiti - Madame Francis.
