USDA-AMS to hold the final Produce Inspection Training

United Fresh and the USDA-AMS will hold the final Produce Inspection Training Program of the year slated for September 10-14, 2012.

This unique training program provides hands-on instruction from USDA experts to anyone involved in the produce supply chain - grower to retailer. Produce industry members will learn the skills they need to understand the many facets of the produce inspection process.

In addition to inspection fundamentals, attendees will spend three days doing hands-on commodity evaluations. Participants will examine a range of produce including grapes, lettuces, potatoes, strawberries, and tomatoes—plus up to seven additional produce items based on the most common requests of the class.
