Expantion Goosta assortment at Lomme Primeurs

Quo assortment it is summer at Lomme Primeurs. But the sun hasn't made an appearence yet. ''To bad,'' says salesman Lode Keirsebilck. ''The summer fruit is beautiful but the consumers don't want watermelons or nectarines. hopefully the weather will get better soon.'' he shows that Lomme is offering more and more products under the brand name Goosta.

''The searching process for the right supplier takes up a lot of time, but step by step the assortment is expanding. For the Goosta we have high standards, taste, appearance and packaging."

''We have different kinds of stone fruit under the brand, like peaches, nectarines and flat peaches.Since last year Lomme Primeurs have had a department in Spain.'' Because of that the products are fresher and we can get better prices. Next year we are going to deliver Italian products under Goosta.'' Another brand from Lomme Primeur is Armada, with that they aim more for the supermarkets.

The imports from Spain start to emerge. "Fortunately there are not very large volumes, because the market couldn't' handle that," explains Lode. "We expect there will be more in the coming weeks and hopefully the sun will let itself be see more. Then we have a beautiful Goosta summer!"
