US: Wholesum Harvest names Dennis Moleta account manager for Eastern US

Organic grower Wholesum Family Farms today announced that produce industry professional Dennis Moleta has joined the company as an account manager. Moleta, whose territory will cover the Eastern United States, will operate from Hampton, New Jersey.

"Dennis will give us a regional presence and provide our retail clients on the East Coast with the expertise and support that they need to effectively market and sell our produce," said Ricardo Crisantes, vice president of sales and marketing for the grower. "He has extensive experience in produce marketing and merchandising and understands what it takes to increase sales."

Moleta joins Wholesum Family Farms just as it nears completion of a new state-of-the-art glass greenhouse operation in Amado, Arizona that will dramatically increase the company’s growing capacity and offer products grown in the United States.

"This is an exciting time at Wholesum Family Farms," said Crisantes. "We are expanding our ability to provide customers with our certified organic produce, and are growing our account management team to keep pace with increased demand for category management and merchandising support. We are so pleased to welcome Dennis to our team."

Moleta, who first started working in the produce industry in 1991, has been a sales agent to the industry for the past nine years. He provided services in marketing, sales, merchandising, distribution, and account management for numerous industry clients, including Chilean Fresh Fruit Association; Chilean Avocado Importers Association; APIO/Eat Smart; Northwest Cherry Commission/Washington State Fruit; Produce for Better Health Foundation; National Mango Board; Pink Lady Apple USA; and Fresh Produce of America’s Association. Additionally, he spent 10 years as the Northeast Regional Marketing Manager for the Florida Department of Citrus.
