Germany: Rewe opens drive-in supermarkets

The German supermarket chain Rewe has opened the first drive in supermarket in the state Baden-Württemberg. Starting on the 14th of May the Rewe supermarket in Wiesloch will offer the new Rewe-takeaway service. At the takeaway the customers can pick up their shopping which was order through www.rewe-online.de, at a time determined by them, without having to enter the supermarket, writes gabot.de. Besides the supermarket in Wiesloch this service is also available in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Aschaffenburg, Bergish Gladbach, Höhr-Grenchausen and Landshut.

Doing your daily shopping will become so easy and quick. The ordering process is simple and fast. At www.rewe-online.de the online customer can click through the supermarket's assortment and fill their shopping cart. The supply contains the complete assortment with the ware groups fruits and vegetables, dairy products, frozen food, meat and sausages, food, drink, pharmaceuticals and non food articles. These have also been sorted by use, for instance 'breakfast'. This way the customer can find their desired products quickly. The prices in the supermarket and on the website are the same.
