France-KLM Cargo Headquarters moves to environmentally friendly building

The Air France-KLM Cargo Headquarters at Schiphol will move to the TransPort building at the Eastside of Schiphol on May 14th, 2012.

With this move Management, commercial and central services departments of Air France-KLM Cargo and Martinair Cargo at Schiphol will be brought together.

The TransPort building is a very modern, environmentally friendly, sustainable and state of the art building where Martinair already reside. The climate for instance is controlled with a modern, energy saving system and meets the requirements of the international BREEAM certificate. BREEAM is a method to assess the sustainability performance of a building.

The KLM Cargo Operations and the AF-KL Cargo and Martinair Cargo Benelux Market organization (Sales and Customer Service) will stay in the current location, next to the warehouses at Schiphol-Center.
