AU: Nunhems puts down roots in Brisbane

Short seed delivery times, personalized crop advice and a helping hand around the corner – this is what good service is all about. With the opening of their new warehouse in Cannon Hill, the Nunhems team in Australia has a new home, and better resources in place to serve customers in and beyond the Brisbane area.

"Nunhems provides more than just a product," said CEO Douwe Zijp at the opening. "We offer specialized crop expertise, growing and marketing advice, through to vegetable varieties that meet local needs. With six crop experts in Australia, we regularly touch base with our customers and partners along the chain and help their crops succeed from seed to shelf."

The new location in Brisbane builds on existing facilities and infrastructure of Bayer HealthCare in Cannon Hill. Nunhems has been marketing its seed varieties in Australia since June 2007. Today we offer a competitive assortment of tomato, carrot, cucumber, onion, melon, watermelon, salads and leek varieties.
