US: Sweet onion sales specialist joins Curry & Company

Adam Blocker is the newest member of the Curry & Company sales team. He will focus on the company’s 52-week sweet onion program and their seasonal carrot programs.

Blocker, a Georgia Southern University graduate will be based out of Curry & Company’s office in Statesboro, GA. He most recently was the sales manager at Bland Farms, a position he held for five years. Blocker is familiar with year round sweet onions with experience in both domestic and imported sweet onions. Vidalia, New York, Peru, Mexico and Texas are all regions where Blocker is an expert on sweet onion crops.



According to Blocker, "Produce is such a fascinating and fast moving industry. I’m excited to join the Curry & Company team and bring my passion for building brands and working within a team concept to deliver the most consistent, highest quality sweet onions to the Curry & Company customer base. I also can’t wait to start expanding my knowledge base by working with Curry’s complete product line of Vidalia Sweet Carrots, storage onions, blueberries and blackberries."

Blocker is an avid outdoorsman and hunts and fishes year round.
