Berries in Ukraine 3rd International Conference

The Ukrainian berry industry is gaining growth momentum in the year when the largest European football event is going to be held in the country. Many farmers are investing into new intensive berry production technologies; supermarkets and HoReCa are actively looking for new suppliers. New produce wholesale markets are being built in large cities of the countries.

Therefore, Fruit-Inform has decided to move the major industry event, the 3rd International Conference "Berries of Ukraine – 2012: Frozen Produce & Fresh Market," from Lviv to Kiev and hold it on the newly opened largest fresh produce wholesale market of Ukraine Stolychnyi. Among the key topics discussed at the event will be the Ukrainian berry and cherry forecast for 2012, production, imports, exports, pricing, trends; a Russian berry market presentation arranged by a representative of Yagody Karelii, the biggest operator in the Russian fresh and frozen berry sectors; Ukrainian berry farms' rankings presented for the first time ever by Fruit-Inform; Development of the Ukrainian market for frozen fruits and vegetables; Berry trade in Ukrainian supermarket chains. There will also be a round table discussion with Ukrainian retail trade representatives.

As an additional option, all interested parties will be able to participate in the business-tour to one of the leading berry companies of Ukraine.

Those attending will be able to obtain exclusive market information about the real market situation and outlook. They will be able to meet largest berry growers of Russia and Ukraine and meet leading processors also.
