Adding up to US$640.6 millions between January and February of 2012

Peru: Fruit and vegetables exports grow in amount

The Ministry of Agriculture (Minag) said that Peruvian agricultural exports added up to US$640.6 millions in the first two months of 2012, representing a 16.9% rise by comparison with the same period of 2011. This raise reflects the increase in price of products like asparagus, mango, prepared artichoke and fresh grapes; and to a bigger amount of exported products like fresh grapes and Cavendish Valery banana, according to alert@economica.
