UAE: Marhaba new storage facilities

Marhaba MTA General Trading, established in 2007, started out trading in the domestic market in Dubai. The company now imports, exports and re-exports a range of fruit including apples, pears, citrus, soft fruit and bananas.

The company's main products are citrus and apples, dealing in around 8 containers of each every week throughout the year.

Marhaba have recently completed a new state of the art storage/ripening centre in Al Aweer. The focus of this is to achieve high turnover of fruit. The 3500MT storage/ripening unit is designed to be environmentally friendly while cutting overheads.

Mr. Ali Arjomandi, purchasing manager of Marhaba says that one of the biggest challenges for the company is getting consistent quality from suppliers at the right price.

Marhaba is investing in new markets and striving to give the best service to existing clients by focusing on quality. The company recently became HACCP certified.
