Netherland: Innoverde still receive more than enough Orri, Ora and Mor

 

Innoverde is the exclusive marketing partner of R10 in Europe. "During the coming weeks we will have a first class assortment of mandarins, such as Orri, Ora and Mor available. This program at the end of the season is possible because of the innovative harvest, packing and storage methods at the modern facilities of R10 in Israel" as per Sjaak Oosthoek. He says that Adi Rabinowitz is a single-minded man. "He just wants the best quality citrus from Israel. With a family history of four generations in the production of citrus, Adi is an example of modern knowledge and experience balanced by strong family values. Sjaak explains that Adi's great grandfather was a well-to-do furniture trader in Lithuania, but returned to Israel at the beginning of the previous century. "Since that time the family is driven by a great passion to cultivate the 'holy land'. Adi virtually grew up in the orchards of his grandfather and his dad. He still talks enthusiastically about his younger years on the family farm." (The name R10 has a nice meaning. The Adi's father has 10 grandchildren today and therefore R=Rabinowitz and the number of grandchildren).

 

R10 was established by Adi, his brother and sister. Slowly they introduced new product and storage techniques, all of them directed towards the improvement of the product quality and client satisfaction. In 2002 the company established an export department and since then Adi works together with more than 100 producers. Recently he has established a producer's working party enabling him to communicate intensively via short lines. To share information and the development of technical knowledge are in a central position."
