This week the early harvest of Rotary melon grown in Sicily starts. The product is guaranteed till June. Rotary melon has a great flexibility to early grafting, thanks to a plant that grows also at low temperatures and with limited light.
Especially in January and February, this campaign was marked by low temperatures, highest humidity and little light, but Rotary confirmed its aptitude of fruit set also in these conditions.
Without overindulgence in nutrients, Rotary guarantees marketing size and highest quality, in terms of colour of firm pulp (deep orange), long shelf-life, high sugar contents (over 14 °Brix) and typical aroma, highly valued by big retail and consumer.
