Washington Apple Blossom Candidates tour Columbia Fruit Packers

The top 10 Royalty Pageant candidates for the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival toured Columbia Fruit Packers as part of their apple industry education. Three candidates will be chosen on February 11, 2012 to represent the apple industry for one year.

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, located in Wenatchee, WA, is an 11-day festival that takes place during the last weekend in April and first weekend in May. The festival celebrates the arrival of spring and the beauty of the apple blossoms that surround the valleys of Eastern Washington. Apples are one of Washington State’s leading agricultural crops.

The 10 candidates are: Aubryann McClune, Samantha Allen, Hayley Brown, Nora Cortez, Nikki Schroeder, Keisha Engley, Lydia Blair, Claire Fryhover, Devyn Huylar, Christine Reed. Names are not in order of pictured.
