FRUIT ATTRACTION to start international promotion in Berlin

FEPEX and IFEMA, organizers of the international fruit and vegetables fair - FRUIT ATTRACTION - will start, next week in Berlin, the international promotion of the fourth edition of this fair.

FRUIT ATTRACTION will assist to the fruits and vegetables sector fair, organized in the German city, that will count on the presence in the stand of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, where they will inform about the novelties on the fourth edition, to take place in Madrid, from the 24th to the 26th of October.

Among the objectives for the next call-up is the strengthening of the presence of all Spanish producing regions to promote characteristic factors of the sector, like offering diversity, productions and calendars, and support to internationalization.

Together with this, organizers of FRUIT ATTRACTION will carry out surveys on opinions and points of view of exhibitors and visitors of the previous edition.

FRUIT ATTRACTION closed its third edition last 21st October with 18,473 visitors, 47.3% more than in the second edition and with 561 direct exhibitors, 24% more, confirming the excellent results in a situation of economic crisis.

The 561 direct exhibitors in FRUIT ATTRACTION 2011 represented 1,127 companies, according to data audited by UIF (Union of International Fairs). From the total of exhibitors, 19% were foreigners, with an important presence of the European industry, mainly of companies coming from France, Italy and Portugal.
