Lower export to Russia (-37%) and Germany (-31%)

In 2011 6% less Dutch onions exported than in 2010

The decrease from 930 to 872 million kg is for a big part to blame on lower exports to Russia (-37%) and Germany (-31%). Also Mediterranean countries like France (-31%) and Spain (-30%) bought less onions. The export to Senegal was in 2011 23% higher than in 2010 with 134 million kg.
