Positive result for sales. During December 2011, 170,658 tons of apples were sold, compared to 153,995 tons in December 2010. A good continuation of the marketing activities is therefore expected, in line with the expectations of key players and with the previous marketing year.

Gala recorded stocks of 84,417 tons, 2% more than the same period last year and the stocks of Golden Delicious are 639,172 tons, 1% more than the same period the previous year. Stocks are in line with the operators' plans of de-cumulation, given the high level of product demand. Both varieties are in recovery compared to 2010: +2.5% and +1.4% respectively.
Lower satisfaction is recorded only for the development of prices, which are generally less rewarding for producers than the previous campaign.
