MULTIVAC shows versatile packaging solutions for salads, fruit and vegetables at the Fruit Logistica (Stand D-04, Hall 3.1) in Berlin from 2 to 5 February 2016. Packaging companies, exporters, importers and farmers as well as wholesalers as retailers can get information about packaging lines especially suitable for their needs at the stand of MULTIVAC.
Thermoform vacuum packaging machine R 105: compact and clever
The preconfigured, plug and play packaging machine with several preprogrammed formats is an excellent model for starters and has a perfect price. It can be used for MAP and vacuum packaging. MULTIVAC presents the FreshSAFE packaging concept on the R 105 at the Fruit Logistica. To make FreshSAFE-packaging the R 105 has a perforator, which perforates the top film while packaging depending on the product. Through the perforations there is an exchange of atmosphere and that creates an equilibrium (EMAP). Due to this concept fruit, vegetables and salad stays fresh longer without the use of preserving agents. An advantage of the integrated perforator is the possibility to use standard film, there is no need to order special perforated film.
Traysealer T 300: fully automatic and compact
The Traysealer T 300 is a fully automated solution for the packaging of fruit and all kinds of vegetables, raw or processed, in trays. The compact model is suitable for small to medium sized trays. MULTIVAC will demonstrate a three-line edition of the machine at the trade fair. The electrical drive systems for the tray transport system, lifting unit and film trim winder of the T 300 create an energy efficient way of working. With transport lines and a variety of possible formats this machine is a flexible packaging solution.
Vacuum Chamber Machine C 200: compact and powerful
The space-saving table-top vacuum chamber machine C 200 is capable of quickly and efficiently packaging small to medium quantities of salads, nuts and dried fruit in bags. Because of the small size the chamber machine can be used everywhere. The C 200 is strong, precise, extremely efficient and suitable for a large range of products, bags and sizes of bags. An additional option allows for the packaging for products such as lettuce at atmospheric pressure.
All machines distinguish themselves through the simple use and groundbreaking MULTIVAC Hygienic DesignTM. In the high quality and durable stainless steel construction corners, ridges and edges are avoided so that there are no possibilities for residues to remain behind. During the cleaning process the water can flow freely through the machine. This has a positive influence on the packaging and the shelf life of the fruit and vegetables. Furthermore all spaces in the machinery are easily accessible for maintenance.
