According to official statistics, the volume of Serbia's apple exports to the Russian market has almost tripled compared to the previous campaign, reaching 90,000 tonnes. During the same period of the 2012/2013 season, Russia received only 34,000 tonnes of the fruit. Thus, Serbia could become Russia's third largest apple supplier, pushing China to the fourth place. Previously, the country ranked sixth in this list.
