Cabbage and mandarin prices drop in Montenegro

Between 1 and 15 October 2025, Montenegro's wholesale agricultural market recorded broad price movements, with most vegetables showing lower prices, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management.

Cabbage prices fell sharply, down as much as 60% compared to the same period in 2024. Kale and leeks also decreased by around 5%, while potatoes followed a similar downward trend.

Among fruits, mandarins dropped 35% compared to September. Prices for Gala and Golden Delicious apples remained stable during the period. Blueberries increased by more than 29% month-on-month, while raspberries declined by nearly 19%.

The Ministry reminded producers, buyers, and importers of their obligation under the Law on Agriculture and Rural Development and the Regulation on the Agricultural Market Information System to report price and quantity data every two weeks.
