The Global Potato Summit 2025 is scheduled for December 11-12 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, India. The event will conclude with live farm demonstrations on December 13 at a nearby site.
After its debut at the World Potato Congress 2024 in Adelaide, the summit aims to unite stakeholders from the entire potato value chain. Global Potato Summit 2025 will cover segments such as growing, storage, processing, packaging, machinery, and exports. This gathering is designed to facilitate dialogue, networking, and exploration of business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
It is expected to see participation from government entities, trade bodies, and established companies globally, involving over 15 countries. The summit aligns with global events like Potato Europe in the Netherlands and Potato Days Turkey.
The summit has named Mantra Agri Solutions as the title sponsor, a collaboration between Haldiram and the SK Group, both significant entities in India's agri-value chain.
India, a key player as the world's second-largest potato producer, serves as a fitting host for the event. Notably, the frozen potato products market in India was valued at USD 1.77 billion in 2023, projected to expand at a CAGR of 17% during the 2024-2032 period, reaching USD 7.23 billion by 2032.
The summit concludes with a live farm demonstration showcasing advancements in farming techniques, seed varieties, mechanization, and post-harvest technologies on December 13.
