"Bimi Broccoli meeting Parisian consumers"

After distributing more than 2,000 samples and winning over the hearts of restaurant owners and consumers in Lyon last January, Bimi Broccolis took to the streets of Paris. For two days, on March 26th-27th, the Bimi Broccoli strolled the streets of Paris on its three-wheeled vehicle. It was a successful operation, with over 2,000 people sampling the product. "The Bimi Broccoli was warmly welcomed by Parisians: greengrocers, restaurant owners, and consumers were all won over. The enthusiasm for this atypical gourmet vegetable was overwhelming," explains Amélie Tacon Santos, food chain lead at Sakata.

Growth in French business still driven by catering
The Bimi Broccoli offers a multitude of culinary possibilities. It is therefore no coincidence that more and more chefs are adopting it and including it in various forms on their menus. But Bimi Broccolis can also be found in supermarkets. "Both the catering and retail sectors are seeing positive growth for Bimi Broccolis in 2024. The various distribution channels are showing strong interest in bringing something new to French chefs and consumers. Bimi Broccolis are appreciated for the speed with which they can be prepared and cooked, the fact that they are eaten whole, their hazelnut taste, which is closer to asparagus than traditional broccoli, and of course, for their aesthetic appeal."
