Innovation by Top Control: foodProcess is an innovative software solution that helps with packaging. It enables you to easily reduce waste while keeping labor costs under control and considerably increasing productivity.
"Pressing one button is enough for foodProcess to determine weight information with waste, activity and performance data, as well as sales forecasts depending on what defined by the user. Order processing
The machines part of the packaging line are set automatically. The parameters necessary for the order are entered when the order is sent to the various machines part of the line. This way, preparation times are reduced considerably. The order data, just like the produce to be processed, the packaging material, the quantity to produce, the weight limit and label preview and much more are sent directly to the line. Weighing systems are already set for the order. The error rate is thus drastically reduced. The data concerning the packaging, weight and quantities can be displayed in an intuitive manner on the terminal at any time.
Production monitoring
"While processing the packaging or re-packaging order, the status is always visible. Changes in color report whether the expected productivity has been reached, if the delivery date has been complied with and if the supply meets specifications. This way, it is possible to make the necessary changes - i.e. an increase in the number of operators or quality checks - at any time," added Stefan Eschgfäller.
The complete traceability of goods and packaging materials is guaranteed by foodProcess. Incoming goods are registered and the data memorized are transferred to each production and storage phase. Materials are thus assigned to the order and are identifiable. The information important to the packaging personnel can be sent as a message via foodprocess and viewed on both the terminals and the BigScreens.
Items, users, process setups and orders are created and managed in a clear and intuitive manner on foodProcess. This means all data are found in a single location.
foodProcess collects all production data so as to assess them on an order, line or user level with the relevant KPIs such as yield, productivity and much more. So, at the end of the day, you'll know how much of a profit you're actually making.
