Established in 2017, AgPick have been a regular attendee at Hort Connections over the years.

AgPick will showcase recent developments of their harvest management app AgPick, including new quality functionality.
"In the past year, our technology has been implemented at various fresh produce operations throughout Australia including in the new categories of apples, strawberries, and baby broccoli. We have also deepened connections with existing cherry customers, Tasmania’s fruit growing community and table grape growers in the Riverland. Our app is now used in a wide range of fresh produce settings where hand-picking applies, such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and citrus.
AgPick is a scanning app that helps growers take control of their harvests, pay pickers correctly, capture quality information and report on harvest costs that growers can use to make decisions, it is easy to use and set up and that’s what growers like about it.
"In recent years, we have seen demand for tools that deliver efficiency and compliance with the Hort Award piece-rate changes (effective April 2022). We’re seeing people needing ways to efficiently capture and calculate payments and people looking for evidence of compliance with the new award. AgPick simplifies the capturing of specific data in the field. We’re still experiencing this wave of record demand.
"Our latest version of our scanning app allows us to provide a more contemporary platform that captures specific data to provide real-time productivity and quality issues in a rolling dashboard. Growers can easily match quality issues to pickers and act on productivity peaks and troughs and gain control over their harvest. The AgPick app’s piece-rate feature captures all activities such as harvest start, stop and break times and crop work outside harvest periods – both piece-rate and hourly rate, and calculates top-ups as required. Bar codes to capture start and finish times have been added to the mix. The payroll reporting interface includes functionality to upload data to Xero."
"We have also recently added functionality to apply piece-rates to packhouse jobs for punnet packing and lidding. We are currently transitioning customers from our original AgPick Green App to our new AgPick Blue App and extending the range of the staff management and payroll programs we integrate with. We’ll be discussing those features and more at Hort Connections."
