“My advice: come to Canada to pick cherries”

According to Mexican tiktoker Walter, despite being a profitable job, there is a worrying lack of fruit harvesters, in general.

Walter recommends traveling to Canada to harvest cherries, an activity that pays about 3,000 pesos a day (8-hour workday). "Stop suffering with low wages and days of abuse in stores selling clothes or food," he said.

Working during the four-month cherry harvest in Canada pays so well that he can return to his home country, where the minimum wage is low, and live well for a year without having to get a job.

“My advice: come to Canada. Work here. I harvest cherries, I fill 20 or 25-pound boxes and with that, one can make 2,500 to 3,000 pesos a day (about 150 dollars),” Walter Enciso stated.
