Lots of international visitors during Champignondagen

From 10 to 12 May, the Champignondagen were organised in the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch. Many international visitors were present during this 3-day event. Everything in the field of cultivation, preservation, packaging and trade could be found during this event. The fair was well attended, albeit with peaks during one fair day.

There were about 100 exhibitors and about 3,000 visitors attended the fair. The last edition was held in 2019 due to Covid. What particularly stood out now were the harvesting machines and automation projects. Because if we want to continue working efficiently in mushroom cultivation, this will require investments in the coming years to bring costs down in the labour-intensive trade.

The photo report gives an impression of the fair.
