Israel: Minister of Agriculture visits R&D breeding greenhouses

On Thursday, May 11, the Israeli Minister of Agriculture MK Avi Dichter paid a visit to the R&D greenhouses of the breeding company Hazera Seeds. "We had the honor of welcoming the Minister of Agriculture, MK Avi Dichter, and his ministry CEO, Mr. Oren Lavi, accompanied by members of the ministry's senior management and management members of the seeds division that operates under the Chamber of Commerce." 

The minister and his delegation visited Hazera's state-of-the-art R&D greenhouse, where they witnessed first hand the technologies utilized by Hazera in their R&D department. 

The seed company's CEOs delivered an extensive overview of Israel's vegetable seeds industry and a comprehensive five-year plan to foster the growth and development of the Israeli seed industry.
