This month, Bart Leemans began as director at 
the Dutch company Service2Fruit (S2F). He has extensive experience in both the fruit and vegetable sector. Bart started his fruit and vegetable career at Fruitmasters before joining Koppert Cress.
He was that company's Commercial Director for ten years and witnessed it grow nationally and internationally. Bart was self-employed for two years, focusing mainly on primary sector companies, many of which need help with commercial process challenges.
"One of my primary motivators for joining Service2Fruit is my belief in the transparency the platform can bring to the primary sector. Chain shortening and fair grower and buyer prices are the ultimate goals," says Bart.
"Bart's arrival strengthens our team. He's a director with broad experience in the fruit and vegetable sector. That will help further improve the platform and expand it with new product groups," Service2Fruit's Jurjen van der Werf concludes.
