Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers sets interim leadership

Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers (QFVG) has confirmed interim leadership arrangements as it begins the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer.

QFVG Chair Joe Moro has been appointed Interim CEO, responsible for overseeing the organisation's strategic direction until a permanent appointment is made. Chief Finance and Operating Officer (CFOO) Tracy Artiach will manage day-to-day operations to maintain continuity of QFVG's programs and services.

Moro stated that the interim structure is designed to ensure stability during the leadership transition.

This follows the resignation of former CEO Rachel Chamber in September, after her appointment by the Crisafulli Government as Queensland Food Farmers' Commissioner. Moro acknowledged the Chamber's contribution to the organisation and confirmed that recruitment for the next CEO is underway.
