Europe is strengthening its role as a major market for Peruvian blueberries during this export season. According to ProarĂ¡ndanos' data, from the beginning of the 2025-2026 season to date, fresh blueberry shipments to Europe have reached 31,222 tons. This represents a 166% increase over the same period last season and exceeds expectations by 15%.
The region of La Libertad leads shipments with over 15,800 tons, accounting for 51% of the total. It is followed by Lambayeque and Ancash.
The Ventura variety accounts for 34% of shipments, followed by Sekoya Pop with 17%.
The Port of Rotterdam remains the main gateway to the Old Continent, accounting for 62% of receptions.
