Apple industry trade fair hosted in Russia

Proyabloko is a trade fair now in its seventh year. It took place from 9 to 11 June in Mineralnye Vody, in southern Russia. The event is geared towards the apple industry and had a strong turnout on its opening day, 9 June.

"This is our first time exhibiting at Proyabloco," says Omar Papi of Futura Srl. "However, we know that this fair has grown considerably in recent years. Our organization was represented at the exhibition by Ramesh Esanbaev, the sales manager of Futura Central Asia, and Victor Soloviyov, the sales manager of our Russian partner company, Technoveles LLC. The apple is a very important crop in Russia, and we are here because technologies, specifically the customs code, are not subject to sanctions."

Papi continues, "We are the only Italian company in this sector, and we demonstrate the features of our sorting machines to potential customers. We used to participate in a similar fair in Krasnodar, but this one has expanded significantly."

"Essentially, it is a Russian version of Interpoma from Bolzano, albeit with less specialization. In any case, apple processing plants are a very important part of our business at Futura, both in Russia and in countries that produce apples, such as Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, which sell to Russian chains. We therefore need specialized, efficient, and simple processing lines."

"Thanks to our presence in the region and support teams that assist with assembly, we can provide timely service to customers far from our Italian headquarters," Papi concludes.
