According to data from the United Nations trade platform Comtrade, Russia imported more than 361,000 tonnes of peaches and nectarines in 2024, spending over $371 million in total.
The largest supplier was Turkey, which shipped 161,700 tonnes of fruit worth $159.6 million to Russia.
Uzbekistan ranked second with 86,600 tonnes worth $80 million, followed by Azerbaijan with 54,800 tonnes totaling $67.1 million.
The top five also included:
- Georgia: 22,200 tonnes ($26.3 million),
- China: 17,900 tonnes ($20 million).
Other countries in the top 10 were:
- Kazakhstan: 6,400 tonnes,
- Serbia: 3,300 tonnes,
- Armenia: 2,800 tonnes,
- Chile: 1,800 tonnes,
- Netherlands: 1,100 tonnes.
Tajikistan showed the largest year-over-year increase in exports to Russia, with volumes rising 3.1 times compared to 2023. In contrast, Armenia significantly reduced its exports by 70% (a 1.7-fold decrease).
