Naïo Technologies presents its new 2025 products at SIVAL

"Naïo Companion embodies our vision of connected agriculture accessible to all"

Autonomous robot specialist Naïo Technologies celebrated the 10th anniversary of its first robot Oz at SIVAL in Angers. The event was also an opportunity for the brand to present its new products for 2025 and to look back on a decade of innovations serving farmers and fruit and vegetable producers. The program included discussions with experts and demonstrations of the new robot management application: Naïo Companion.

The Naïo Technologies fleet currently comprises a range of 4 robots: Oz, Orio, Ted, and Jo.

"SIVAL is an essential platform"
Since it was founded, Naïo Technologies has won a number of awards at SIVAL: a silver and gold medal in 2015 for its Oz robot, a silver medal in 2017 for its Dino robot, the predecessor of Orio... The Toulouse-based company is now widely recognized by its peers and frequently receives awards. The latest is the gold medal at the Vinitech-Sifel 2024 Innovation Trophy for its 'Augmented Autonomy' concept. "SIVAL is an essential platform for showcasing our innovations and strengthening our links with the farming community. This 2025 edition is of particular importance, marking a decade of commitment to producers with Oz for more sustainable and efficient agriculture. We are delighted to be able to share our latest advances, in particular our Naïo Companion, which embodies our vision of connected agriculture accessible to all," explains Aymeric Barthès, co-founder of Naïo Technologies.

Augmented Autonomy thanks to the Naïo Companion assistant
The company's latest innovation is Augmented Autonomy. This CE-certified technology enables all Naïo Technologies robots to operate safely and without human supervision in the field, thanks to a certified safety system. The technology is easy to use, thanks to the Naïo Companion application available on smartphones and tablets (IOS and Android). "Naïo Companion is the first complete farm routine management solution for small, diversified farms. This application is designed to be an intelligent assistant that makes it easier to manage farm tasks. It has been designed to be accessible to everyone, thanks to its intuitive interface. It improves the precision and efficiency of operations (setting the parameters for the robot's missions and movements, automation, and centralized management of production routines. The robot can be monitored remotely in real-time. Naïo Companion saves producers a considerable amount of time, allowing them to concentrate on higher added-value tasks."

Enhanced features for the Oz robot celebrating its 10th anniversary
Naïo Technologies, a pioneer in agricultural robotics, celebrated a decade of innovation in 2024. Oz, the first 100% electric, full-field agricultural robot, has redefined agricultural work by bringing autonomous, simple, effective, and sustainable solutions to diversified farmers, fruit growers, and vegetable producers. More than 300 Oz robots have been sold worldwide. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, an anniversary series of the Oz robot, with enhanced functions, was unveiled on September 16th. It was available in 20 copies: 10 for France and the same number for other countries. Each limited-edition Oz robot features a new logo design to mark its 10th anniversary. Only a few units are still available.

The brand is currently testing the ability to carry out two separate cultivation operations simultaneously (working the soil, the vine, and the foliage) in order to optimize its robots as much as possible for growers. Finally, the brand is committed to sustainable, high-performance agriculture, and its innovations seek to reduce the environmental and social impact of food production. It is B-Corp certified and recognized as a Mission company under the Pacte law.
