Maf Roda will present great innovations in the next edition of Fruit Attraction 2023, focusing on two major lines of development that the company has been betting on for years: quality systems and automatic packaging robots.

The latest generation of their quality software brings them one step closer to this goal.
The revolutionary new state-of-the-art external quality analysis system for citrus fruits can be adjusted with just one click. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the system is able to readjust itself automatically or it can be readjusted manually simply by clicking on the photos of the fruit. "You no longer have to work with hundreds of parameters to adjust the line, now you can manage the line with the utmost precision by only adjusting two parameters. This greatly facilitates managing it and allows customers to have more autonomy while maintaining the Globalscan 7's detection efficiency," Maf Roda stated.
In addition, the software released for citrus fruits is fully compatible with the Globalscan 7 hood, so customers only have to purchase the software without changing the cameras or the hood.
Line Pack Citrus, the new citrus packing robot with fruit orientation
The other great novelty that the company will present at Fruit Attraction 2023 is its Citrus Line Pack, a new citrus packing machine capable of orienting the fruit according to the customer's needs.
"This new robot fully automates the packaging process, as it not only draws a custom mosaic with oranges or tangerines, just like the SpeedPacker V8 robot already did, but it also orients the peduncle, thus completely replacing the traditional manufacturing tables," the company stated.
With the launch of these two revolutionary new products for citrus, Maf Roda completes a fully automated global solution that already has automatic dumpers, treatment systems, traceability, and the handling of goods with AGVs. Maf Roda's automated lines can practically be managed autonomously.
New blueberry and cherry systems that you can learn to operate in a few hours
The interface of both blueberry and cherry quality systems has been simplified to make it more intuitive and easy to use. The new format, which is much more visual, allows adjusting quality and detection levels much more directly and quickly.
"The turnover of worker teams is very high in fruit campaigns that are especially short. Aware of this difficulty, the new Maf Roda software allows operators to be trained in a few hours. Thus, operators will quickly be able to operate the line autonomously and without difficulty," they stated.
