Azerbaijan has prospects for the export of agricultural products to Germany

Azerbaijan is a promising exporter of various agricultural products to Germany, according to Olga Hunger, Regional Director for Eastern Europe at the International Agricultural and Food Association, DLG. She noted that Azerbaijan has certain advantages in growing crops that do not grow in Germany, such as nuts, citrus fruits, and fruits (including pomegranates). These products could be of interest to foreign markets.

According to Olga Hunger, international cooperation between countries is always mutually beneficial, as it promotes joint development and improved economics through the development of export and import operations. She also noted that Azerbaijan, as a country that exports agricultural products, needs international technology, experience, and knowledge.

She expressed her impression of the participation of foreign companies at the international exhibition, Caspian Agro, in Baku. Collective exhibits from Italy, the Netherlands, the United States, Germany, Belarus, Russia, and Georgia were showcased. This indicates the interest of foreign companies in entering the Azerbaijani market.
