ERP software helps UK company streamline from customer order to delivery

Affinitus, a provider of business management software solutions for the fresh produce, food service, and horticulture industries, announces that South West premium food service provider, Goosemoor Foodservice, has implemented the Chefserve ERP solution.

Goosemoor offers food service packages in the industry, supplying restaurants, hospitals, schools, and homes in the South West of the United Kingdom.

Goosemoor deployed the V7 Chefserve ERP solution to manage its operations, end-to-end, from order to delivery, including the Chefserve V7 Financials Suite, which provides complete financial management and financial reporting. Goosemoor customers may browse products and place their orders online, 24/7, via the Chefserve Web Ordering Portal. Orders flow directly into the Chefserve ERP solution, greatly reducing order entry admin and telesales resources while improving the customer experience. The Web Portal also provides Goosemoor's customers with self-service account admin, where they can retrieve past orders, copy invoices and statements, as well as set up order templates and weekly repeat orders.

The Chefserve Tablet Picking App is used to improve the productivity and efficiency of the Goosemoor picking team with electronic pick and loading sheets, optimized by warehouse or pick a location and delivery route, while also electronically capturing accurate weight information at the pick-point for weighted goods, ensuring the customer is charged accurately for their chosen items.

The Chefserve Vanlogik Delivery Driver Android App is also used to manage vehicle checks, delivery routes & drop sequences while electronically recording rejections & returns, and providing electronic proof of delivery capture (photo and signature) and automated invoice distribution.
