Dutch company Looije Packing has expanded its activities further. It has partnered with IQ Packing Waddinxveen. Piet Looije and Rob Bondt - who jointly have 70 years of experience in the fruit and vegetable sector - have joined forces at IQ Packing's site in Waddinxveen, the Netherlands.
The companies had several rounds of talks. It was decided that Looije Packing will begin running daily warehouse operations right away. That includes Jobcenter Haaglanden and Looije Uitzenden providing temporary, sector-experienced staff. Rene Tunker and Rob Bondt will take care of the commercial side of things.
Looije Packing and IQ Packing are convinced this strengthening merger will let the two companies, with their combined know-how and experience, serve current and potential clients even better. The state-of-the-art packing plant lends itself perfectly to a wide range of trendy consumer fruit and vegetable packaging forms. Piet and Rob are delighted with this move. "We've both been in the fruit and vegetable business since childhood, and now, we're moving forward together."
