Egypt: 46.3% increase in exports to Romania

According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), there was an increase in the value of Egyptian exports to Romania, reaching $369.7m during the first 10 months of 2022. This can be compared to $252.7m during the same period in 2021, an increase of 46.3%.

According to the agency, the value of Egyptian imports from Romania amounted to $1bn during the first 10 months of 2022, compared to $750.5m during the same period in 2021, an increase of 39.5%.

Fertilizers came at the forefront of the most important commodity groups that Egypt exported to Romania during the first 10 months of 2022 with a value of $142.7m, then iron and steel with a value of $47.7m, then plastics and their articles with a value of $43.6m, then vegetables and plants with a value of $25m, then articles of stone worth $10.9m.
