SA Bureau for Food and Agricultural Policy:

"Persistent load shedding is a key factor that will influence growth prospects in agriculture'

On is LinkedIn page, Elton Greeve, Tridge Trade & Engagement Manager, South Africa, referred to a report by the Bureau for Food and Agricultural Policy (BFAP) on the detrimental effects of load shedding.

He quoted the Bureau as stating: "Persistent load shedding is a key factor that will influence growth prospects in agriculture - 33% of farming income is directly dependent on irrigation."
