The 36th edition of SIVAL, the International Trade Fair of Plant Production Techniques, opened its doors on the 17th of January. For three days, the exhibition center of Angers was a place of exchange and meetings between professionals of the sector, around conferences, round tables, and innovation!
SIVAL is the only fair in France to offer a complete range of equipment and services for specialized crop production. This 2023 edition was a success, with very high attendance from the very first day. In 2022, SIVAL was postponed to March, so many professionals could not be present. But this year, exhibitors and visitors alike were generally very satisfied with the new edition.
Innovation of SIVAL 2023: the Biocontrol and Plant Health Forum
This year’s SIVAL marked the launch of the Biocontrol/Plant Health Forum. During the three days of the event, this new space hosted speeches in the morning by institutional and technical organizations such as GEVES, Astredhor, Végépolys Valley, CTIFL, and the Loire Valley Chamber of Agriculture, and by IBMA member companies in the afternoon.
