"We are receiving excellent feedback for PGI clementines from the Gulf of Taranto: over one thousand stores part of the big retail chain sell our products at a fixed price that is maintained throughout the campaign, so we manage to pay producers without surprises," reports business network La Grande Bellezza Italiana.
The strength is in the packaging: the punnet looks good and reaches the houses of consumers holding its shape. The contrast between the black of the punnet and the orange of the clementines is very appealing and the packaging is also available with a film on the top part.
"Clementines are a premium product with an excellent flavor thanks to the sugar content and considerable grades (2 or 3). They will be available in over one thousand stores located all over Italy until February. Our trump card lies in the fixed price combined with the high quality and constant supplies," report Leonardo Odorizzi, a representative of the network.
"The packaging also represents a strategic choice, as the 1.5 kg format aims at finding a balance between the cost of the packaging and the product, while the smaller format has an appealing final price. The nice packaging is what entices the purchase, but then the quality must meet the expectation of clients so that purchases can be repeated over time. We are in fact basing the success of our products on the combination of packaging and high quality."
