Greentastic, a new agricultural macro group in Spain with more than 7,000 hectares of its own

The Magnum Capital investment fund has created Greentastic, an agricultural macro group resulting from the union of the Amaco and NatVeg companies, from Murcia, and the Almeria-based company AgrupapulpĂ.

Amaco specializes in the marketing of vegetables, fruits, and vegetables, which it exports throughout Europe. Its most outstanding products include lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. In turn, NatVeg has focused on broccoli, although in recent years it has expanded its crop portfolio to include other brassicas. Finally, AgrupapulpĂ, which the fund has controlled since July 2019, stands out above all in Iceberg lettuce, broccoli, and watermelon.

Amaco and NatVeg closed the 2021 financial year with sales of 94 million euro, (53 million and more than 41 million, respectively). In that period AgrupapulĂ invoiced 95 million, for a combined turnover of almost 190 million euro.

In total, with its own 7,029 hectares for crops, Greentastic generates more than 250,000 tons of produce per year.

Miura has already performed this operation
In 2019, before Magnum founded Greentastic, Miura Private Equity carried out a similar operation to unite Frutas Esther and the Castilian Citri&Co in a fund that was valued at the time at 350 million euro.
