Bonduelle has announced the signing of an income revaluation agreement, for the 4th consecutive year, with its partner producers of vegetables in the Hauts-de-France region. This concerns 1,200 farmers and nearly 20,000 ha of vegetables in northern Picardy (beans, peas, carrots, spinach, cauliflower…).
Henri Foulon, operations manager Bonduelle for Northern Europe, Eric Legras, president of OPLVERT, François Bolle, president of OPLINORD, and Jean-Noël Darniche, general director of Bonduelle Long Life France.
A 25% increase in the price of vegetables (15% to 30% depending on the variety) for the 2023 campaign and a financial envelope to continue the deployment of new cultivation practices (insect traps, plant cover, mechanical weeding, flower strips…).
“This way, Bonduelle reaffirms its desire to support its agricultural partners and make sure that they are fairly remunerated, in tune with their commitments and their increasing expenses in this unprecedented inflationary context. This reinforces our objective to maintain a French vegetable and legume industry of quality and to maximize the availability of volumes for our distribution partners and consumers.”
