STI expects to double cherry shipments this season

"To date, we have already loaded four ships with 2,507 containers of cherries"

San Antonio International Terminal (STI) expects to move nearly 13,000 containers with cherries, i.e. twice as many as last season.

The main concessionary terminal of San Antonio, which has 2,700 connections for reefers, deployed special coordination with the shipping companies that are serving these shipments: Evergreen (with the WSA1 service), Cosco (WSA3), Maersk (AC3), and Hapag-Lloyd (Cherry Express).

"To date, we have already loaded four ships with 2,507 containers with cherries, and the process has flowed well. We continue to deploy all our efforts to deliver a good service," stated the commercial manager of the terminal, Andres Albertini.
