New banana flour processing plant for Philippines

The southern province of Cotabato in the Philippines will see the construction of a new banana flour processing plant to assist producers of this fruit. 

The province produces about 90 metric tons of different banana varieties on about 13 756 hectares. It forms part of the government efforts to support agricultural production for producers in the area.
