A new modern fresh produce market will be built in Lahore, Pakistan to serve the growing need in the city.
The intention of the local authorities in the Ruda areas in Lahore is to build a modern facility that will cover about 80 hectares. A suitable site for the market is still being identified with authorities saying construction will start as soon as it is found.
The new market will have a centre for research, auction mechanism, security and cold storage facilities.
